The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music is practised by people who
1. have a qualification in an allied health profession, and who
2. have then completed a post-graduate diploma in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music from a training program endorsed by the Music and Imagery Association of Australia Inc.
Registered GIM therapists (RGIMTs) have completed a two-tiered, post graduate training program over a period of at least three years.
RGIMTs are accredited by the Music and Imagery Association of Australia (MIAA) Inc. and are eligible to complete requirements for inclusion on PACFA's Register of Practitioners.
RGIMTs are bound by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of MIAA Inc. and PACFA Inc.
